022 이미 우리는 환경이나 개발도상국에 대한 세계 시장의 충격, 문화 수준을 낮추는 세계 문화의 특성 등에 초점을 맞추는 정치 운동의 형태로 세계화에 대한 반동[반대하는 운동]이 이루어지고 있음을 볼 수 있다.
008 Already we can see a backlash against globalization in the form of political movements concerned about the environment, or the impact of global markets on developing nations, or the levelling-down quality of global culture. 

022 이러한 운동은 경제성장이 최상의 목표라는 관념[생각]에 도전하며, 그러한 도전 과정에서 우리가 우리의 삶에서 궁극적으로 무엇에 가치를 두어야 하는지, 어떻게 이 목표들을 성취할 수 있는지의 물음을 제기한다. 
008 These movements challenge the idea that economic growth is the supreme goal, and in the course of doing so raise questions about what we ultimately value in our lives, and how we can achieve these aims,

022 그리고 관습적인 의미에서 말하는 정치적 논쟁들의 주요 관심사로 국한한다고 하더라도, 우리가 더 큰 평등의 이름[평등이라는 명분 아래]으로 얼마만큼의 경제적 자유를 희생해야 하는지, 또는 우리가 살아가는 공동체를 강화하기 위해 개인적 자유를 얼마만큼이나 제한[제약]해야 하는지를 둘러싸고 논쟁할 여지는 여전히 많다. 
008 And even if we confine ourselves to political debate that lies closer to the conventional centre ground, there is still plenty of scope to argue about how much economic freedom we should sacrifice in the name of greater equality, or how far personal liberty should be restricted in order to strengthen the communities in which we live. 

freedom와 liberty는 구별되어 쓰인다. economic에는 freedom을 썼고, personal에는 liberty를 썼다. 여기서 liberty는 정치적인 것들. 사상의 자유, 언론의 자유, 공동체에서 살아가는 사람들의 정치적 자유를 제약하는 문제.  

 

023 이 책을 쓰고 있는 시점에도 테러리즘이나 개인의 권리, 그리고 다른 국가들이 어떻게 지배되고 있든지 간에 그들의 내정에 간섭할 수 없다는 원리 등을 둘러싸고 치열한 논쟁이 진행되고 있다.
As I write, there is a fierce argument going on about terrorism, the rights of individuals, and the principle that we cannot interfere in the internal affairs of other states, no matter how they are governed.


023 이것들 역시 집단적 선택이 이루어져야 하는 쟁점이며, 전형적인 정치철학의 쟁점이다.
008 Once again these are issues over which collective choices have to be made, and they are quintessentially issues of political philosophy.  

Once again가 "이것들 역시", issue는 "쟁점"으로 번역이 되어있다.
원문의 ", and"를 감안해서 이것들 역시 집단적 선택이 이루어져야 하는 쟁점들이며, 바로 정치철학의 전형적인 쟁점들인 것이다. 이렇게 강조하는 문장으로 번역할 수 있다.
